radioalba.org christian is an ecumenical,  internet-based radio which promotes prayer and news of good things happening among the churches and people of faith.

The Morning Hour:  repeated on the hour from 7.00 to 12.00

7.00: Morning Prayers for Easter 

7.15: Morning Prayer from school is led by Julia and Eva

7.20: Canon Bob Hill comments on John 14: 1 -12 – the Gospel for Pentecost  

       Margaret Chapman prepares the daily readings at Mass with the commentaries in the Liturgical Calendar

7.25: The Rev Liz Adam introduces  Just a Thought 

7.30: In our Magazine: Fr Tom Magill on ‘I will not leave you orphans’;  Jean Swinbank reads the letter from Pope Francis  for World Communications Day  – communication that ignites hearts, soothes wounds and sheds light; Gerry Fitzpatrick reads a note from the World Council of Churches about  the United Nations World Day of Living Together in Peace. Finally, Catriona Glen sings ‘Praying for the peace of Jerusalem’.

Lunchtime 2 hours repeated at 6.00

12.00/6.00: The Glasgow Churches Together service this week is led by Captain Emma Heal of the Salvation Army  with music by The St Mungo Singers
