radioalba.org christian schedule for week of 29th July

radioalba.org christian is an ecumenical, internet-based radio which promotes prayer and news of good things happening in the churches and among people of faith.

It is sponsored by Glasgow Churches Together, by ACTS, and by the music Committee of the Archdiocese of Glasgow.

 

 

The morning hour at 7.00 o’clock is repeated every 60 minutes until 12 noon.

07.00: Morning Prayer daily this week is led by Mary Bradley, Stephen Eric Smyth, John Carroll, Gerry Fitzpatrick, Pat Graham SND, Donald MacInnes and Pat Graham SND  Music by The St Mungo Singers with cantors Grace Buckley, Helen Healy and Noel Donnelly,  organist Jane McKenna, and harpist Noel Donnelly.
07.15: Morning Prayer for young people is led by children of Lochmaddy Primary School in the Western Isles.
07.20: looking ahead to next Sunday’s Gospel Canon Bob Hill speaks of the passage in John 6: 24-35
7.25 Praying for Peace is led today by Noel Donnelly and Donald MacInnes.
7.30 In our Magazine:  Marian Pallister of Justice and Peace, Scotland listens to young Zambians; then we hear children of Mount Florida Primary School sing Madiba Madiba with Frank O’Hagan marking the centenary of Nelson Mandela; From Romero News Michael Martin tells us ‘What’s so special about Romero’,  and gives us a poem by John McPartlin: ‘House Survey.’
