radioalba.org  christian is an ecumenical,  internet-based radio which promotes prayer and news of good things happening in the churches and among  people of faith.

The Morning half-hour at 8.00 is repeated every 30 minutes until 12.00.

8.00: Daily Morning Prayer is led each day in turn by Gerry Fitzpatrick, Hugh Kelly, Stephen Smyth and Joe Docherty, with music by the St Mungo Singers,
cantors Grace Buckley,  Helen Healy and Noel Donnelly, with organist Jane McKenna, and harpist Noel Donnelly.

8.15: School Morning Prayer is led by Kyle with music by Magdalen MacInnes and Catriona Glen.

Canon Bob Hill comments on Mark 1: 14-20  repent and believe, the kingdom of God is at hand.

08.25: Moira Tizo and Marie MacNeil pray for the sick.

 

Lunch-time half hour

12.00: The Scottish Catholic Observer comments on matters of contemporary concern

12:15: a service for the bereaved.
12.30: archive until 18.00
18.00: a repeat of the Lunch-time half hour and then archive until 20:00

 

The Evening Hour at 20:.00 is repeated at 21:00 and 22:00

20.00: Evening prayer is led by Joe Docherty with music by the St Mungo Singers, Night Fever, with cantors Grace Buckley and Catriona Glen,
organists Jane McKenna and Jacqueline Barrett, and harpist Noel Donnelly.

20:20: Magazine:  Honor Hania quotes Martin Luther King on Peace and non-violence,inter-dependance and the sacredness of life.  Anthony Horan concludes his report from the Catholic Parliamentary office with a reflection on Abortion and a letter to the First Minister from the Bishops Conference of Scotland. We end with a report about the Glasgow Churches Together Schools Cantata, the story of Joseph and Mary.
