Annual Ecumenical Christian Passover –  Thursday 22nd March 7.00 pm.

This evening Kinning Park Parish Church
will welcome parishioners from St Leo the Great Parish and Ibrox Parish Church
to join members of its own congregation
as they celebrate the annual Christian Passover together.
This will be the 24th such occasion.

It will conclude with the prayer:

O God of eternal glory,
you anointed Jesus, your servant,
to bear our sins,
to encourage the weary,
to raise up and restore the fallen.
During this Holy Week, keep before our eyes
the splendour of the paschal mystery of Christ,
and, by our sharing in the passion and resurrection,
seal our lives with the victorious sign
of his obedience and exaltation.

We ask this through Christ,
our liberator from sin,
who lives and reigns with you
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
holy and mighty God forever and ever.

‘May the Lord bless us,
and keep us from all harm
and may he lead us to eternal life’.
