radioalba.org christian is an ecumenical, internet-based radio which promotes prayer and news of good things happening in the churches and among people of faith.  It is sponsored by Glasgow Churches Together,  and by the music Committee of the Archdiocese of Glasgow.

the Morning Hour at 7.00 is repeated hourly until 12.00

7.00:  Morning Prayer.  On Sunday the Morning Prayer for Corpus Christ is led by Donald MacInnes.

7.15: Morning Prayer for the young led by Rachel McLean  of St Bernard’s Primary, Glasgow 

7.20: 7.20:  Canon Bob Hill looks ahead to the 21st June and the choosing of the 12 Apostles.  

and we hear short introductions to the readings for the daily liturgy next week from the Liturgical Calendar.

7.30: Magazine: Fr Tom Magill speaks on the Holy Trinity; Joan Walsh gives us Cardinal Peter Turkson on anti-racism protests; ; Joe Docherty reads from Open House an article by Duncan McLaren on Being Human during the Corona Virus; and Gerry Fitzpatrick reads ‘the Poor Cannot Wait’, from Far East Magazine. 

12.00: Sunday: The Mass for Corpus Christi is celebrated by Fr Brendan Murtagh, with reader Jean Swinbank and music from the files of the St Mungo Singers with harpist Noel Donnelly, and organists Jane McKenna and Jacqueline Barrett.

            Monday – Saturday: The Mass in Time of Pandemic is celebrated by Fr Gerry Fitzpatrick St Leo’s, Glasgow, with Intercessions by Jean Swinbank,                  and music from the files of the St Mungo Singers with harpist Noel Donnelly, and organists Jane McKenna and Jacqueline Barrett.

12.30:  “Chatterbox”, presented by Elizabeth Adam – a place for Christians to share news and views.
