radioalba.org schedule for the week of the  28th June
radioalba.org has been functioning as a computer based christian radio station for almost 7 years, as a part of modern evangelisation. There is also a radioalba.org webpage and a radioalba.org facebook which we are developing
It majors on Morning, School, Evening and Night Prayer, and now has recorded Masses daily.
It introduces the Sunday and daily readings, and it draws attention to the good works that the Church and the churches
are doing through our half-hour Magazine.
 the weekly schedule is really quite straightforward: –
7.00:   1 morning hour repeated from 7.00 – 12.00.  Prayers, scripture notes and Magazine
12.00: 2 hour lunchtime slot : Mass ecumenical Chatterbox, and music (repeated at 6.00 p.m.)

8.00 p.m. evening hour  – Vespers(20 minutes), Magazine (30 minutes) , Compline (10 minutes) – repeated at 9.00 and 10.00.

This week:

12.00m and 6.00 on Sunday:   the Mass of Sts Peter and Paul is led by Fr Joseph Sullivan, parish priest of Holy Cross Church in Croy. The reader is Brother Julian Harrison, and the Intercessor is Annette Carachi.  The music comes from the files of the St Mungo Singers with cantor Grace Buckley, harpist Noel Donnelly, and organists Jane McKenna and Jacqueline Barrett.

12.00m and 6.00 Monday – Saturday:   Mass in Time of Pandemic this week is led by Fr Gerry Fitzpatrick, St Leo’s, Dumbreck, with reader Stephen Eric Smyth, Intercessor Jean Swinbank.  The music comes from the files of the St Mungo Singers with cantor Grace Buckley, harpist Noel Donnelly, and organists Jane McKenna and Jacqueline Barrett.

In our Magazine: 7.30 and hourly: Marian Pallister reports on issues of gender equality, quality education and racism.  Fr Tom Magill reflects on the ‘call’ in the readings for the 12th Sunday of the Year; Annette Carachi reports on Pope Francis’s concern about the danger of political hypocracy; and finally Brother Julian Harris reads the Catholic Union of Great Britain’s letter to the Chancellor re the punitive Family Tax.
