radioalba.org christian schedule for week of February 24th 2019

radioalba.org christian is an ecumenical, internet-based radio which promotes prayer and news of good things happening in the churches and among people of faith.  It is sponsored by Glasgow Churches Together, by ACTS, and by the music Committee of the Archdiocese of Glasgow.

the morning hour at 7.00 o’clock is repeated every 60 minutes until 12 noon.

7.00 : Daily Morning Prayer is led each day in turn by Gerry Fitzpatrick, Hugh Kelly, Stephen Smyth and Joe Docherty,
with music by the St Mungo Singers, cantors Grace Buckley,  Helen Healy and Noel Donnelly, with organist Jane McKenna, and harpist Noel Donnelly.
7.15:   Morning Prayer for school this week comes from  children of Our Lady of the Rosary Primary School, Glasgow with music by Magdalen MacInnes.
7.20:   Canon Bob Hill reflects on next week’s passage from St Luke’s Sermon on the plain in Luke 6: 39-45
the Rev Liz Adam of the Methodist Church leads us in praying for Peace.
And we hear introductions to this week’s daily Mass readings taken from the Liturgical Calendar for Scotland.
