Cantata: St Andrew and the Scots Nov 10th: Wellington Church,
University Avenue, Glasgow 10.30 a.m.
So far 20 schools have signed up for this celebration which will include
a processional entry (with Andrew & young representatives of the countries of which he is patron),
then a song in Scots about Andrew with some dramatic support,
then a reading about the call of Andrew,
a short Cantata,
some dancing,
a ‘Newsflash after the battle of Athelstaneford’ about the choosing of the St Andrew’s Cross for our flag,
and some prayers for the health, prosperity and common good of the country.
