7.30: In our Magazine Fr Tom Magill reflects on The story of Martha and Mary; Donald MacInnes reads ‘One Peace at a Time’ – by Bishop John Pritchard and Friends of the Holy Land;  Jean Swinbank recites a Prayer for the World Day of Grandparents and the Elderly;  at this time of war and persecution Catherine Walker recites ‘A Story Told’ by Chris McDonnell. Finally an article about the Democratic Republic of the Congo from The Missionaries of Africa.

Sunday: The radioalba.org Mass for the 24th Sunday of the Year is led by Fr John Carroll of St Mary’s, Pollokshaws and Holy Name, Mansewood,  with music by Cantor Grace Buckley and the St Mungo Singers with Noel Donnelly on the Harp and organists Jane McKenna and Jacqueline Barrett .
