radioalba.org is an ecumenical, internet-based radio which promotes prayer and news of good things happening in the churches and among people of faith.  It is sponsored by Glasgow Churches Together and by the music Committee of the Archdiocese of Glasgow.

 

Morning Hour: 7.00 – 8.00 and hourly until noon.

7.25:  The Churches Call to Prayer is devised by the “The Scottish Church Leaders’ Forum and  recorded by Mary Welsh with Noel Donnelly on the harp 7.30:   Fr Tom Magill on  the sayings of the Lord about discipleship; Mary McGinty – and her landmark year; then welcoming Archbishop Bill Nolan;  Then a personal view of the Synod by Fr Noel Colford.  a World Day of Prayer Letter from the executive Director, and ‘A transient Time’ a poem by Chris McDonnelly read by Michael Martin.

Monday-Saturday 12.00 / 18.00 The Glasgow Churches Together service for the 1st Sunday of Lent is led by Rev Mitchell Bunting of United Reformed Church and the Iona Community  with music from the CD ‘The Courage to Say No’ produced by The Wild Goose Resource Group.
12.15 / 18.15: Praying for peace in the Ukraine
