The St Andrew Bookmark 2011
As part of our attempt to draw more attention to the feastday of our national patron, St Andrew the Apostle, Glasgow Churches Together promoted a competition to design a bookmark. The panel of judges, Liz McKinley, James Guy, Jimmy McGregor and Netta Ewing, (all graduates of the Glasgow School of Art) decided that there should be two prizewinners and so the award was made to Croftfoot Primary and Lomond School for the work submitted by Shea Clark and by Charlotte Caskie.
The bookmarks were distributed to the 700 children involved in the 2011 St Andrew Cantata and will be available for participants at the St Andrew Vespers on November 30th at St Andrew’s Cathedral at 7.00.
