The St Mungo Festival begins next week and some of us will gather in St Andrew’s Cathedral for the “Medieval to Modern Ecumenical Vespers” at 7.00 p.m. on Friday 12th January, the Vigil of St Mungo.
Then on Saturday 13th January some of the choir will enjoy the little service called ‘The Life of St Kentigern’ in the Mitchell Library at 11.30
On Sunday all the parishes of the Archdiocese will celebrate the Feast of St Mungo, and the St Mungo Singers will join the Rutherglen Salvation Army Band, Capella Russkaya, AGAP and pupils of St Denis’s Primary in Glasgow Cathedral for the St Mungo Festival Service at 4.30.
The Annual Mass of our Celtic Roots will take place in St Aloysius, Garnethill on Sunday 28th January at 4.00 with the St Mungo Singers, St Mungo’s Choir, Alloa, and any other choirs or cantors who would like to join us.
All are welcome to these events.
