Society of St Gregory Summer School, 29 July- 2 Aug 2013
Belsey Bridge Conference Centre, Ditchingham, Norfolk

The Society of St Gregory and this year’s SSG Summer School leaders need no introduction. We attach the information re this year’s Summer School in more detail, the booking form and the application for 18 – 35 year olds to be given the chance of a free place.

Liturgy, the Church and the New Evangelisation

Our overarching theme is Vatican II’s Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy, ‘Sacrosanctum Concilium’. Through keynotes and liturgies, our Summer School Leaders, Fr Peter McGrail (Liverpool Hope University) and Martin Foster (Director of the Liturgy Office), will help us explore the principles and directives of this important teaching, and how they continue to inform how the Liturgy is most authentically and most fruitfully celebrated today. They will help us rediscover the role of the Church in the world, and the seeds of the New Evangelisation ‘a sign lifted up among the nations’. “
