radioalba schedule for the week of the 14th October

radioalba.org christian is an ecumenical, internet-based radio which promotes prayer and news of good things happening in the churches and among people of faith.

07.00: The Morning Prayers (22-28) each day this week are led by A daily Morning Prayer this week is led in turn by Brendan Gill, Brendan Gill, Donald McInnes, Gerry Fitzpatrick, Pat Graham, Stephen Eric Smyth, and Mary Bradley, with organist Jane McKenna and harpist Noel Donnelly. 7.20: looking ahead to next Sunday’s Gospel Canon Bob Hill speaks on the extraordinary request of 2 disciples in Mark 10 and then we hear short introductions to the weekday readings at Mass. and we hear some of the intercessions used at the ecumenical service marking the canonisation of St Oscar Romero.

7.30 for our Magazine: From Flourish Ronnie Convery gives the 1st of 3 articles on modern Popes; then we have an article on ‘water’ by Chris McDonnell from the Catholic Times; From Africa Magazine we hear of the unique publishing work of the Pauline Sisters; and finally in the week of his being declared a martyr saint we hear some quotations from St Oscar Romero.
