Morning Prayer At 8 a.m. and every 30 minutes after that, pax-jpeg
the Morning Prayer for the 3rd week of Easter is led by Donald McInnes,
with music by the St Mungo Singers and cantor Grace Buckley singing Psalm 92.
Lotti’s setting of the Regina Coeli adds something a little different this week.

A Schools Morning Prayer: at 8.15
is led by Nina Sneddon with Magdalen McInnes and
children of Our Lady of the Rosary Primary
School in Psalm 117 ’This day was made by the Lord.’
The verse from the Canticle in the Letter to the Ephesians is sung
by Catriona Glen ‘When we think what’s good and true…’.

After the Morning Prayers Noel Donnelly gives a short comment on Psalm 66.
This 30 minute program is repeated every 30 minutes until noon.
At noon, there is a little service for those who are in mourning.

Led by Jean Swinbank and Gerry Fitzpatrick at 8.00 p.m. and 9 p.m.: Vespers
for the 3rd week of Easter begins with the lighting of the evening candles
And the acknowledgement of Christ as the light of the world as we ‘we hymn the Father,
Son and Holy Spirit Divine.’ Evening Prayer then begins with the invocation
‘O God, come to our aid.’ Psalm 66 (May he bless us and keep us) is
followed by the prayer:
”Lord God, the resurrection of your Son, Jesus Christ,
the first born of the dead, gives us hope of eternal life.
Fill us, and all your children, with every blessing.
We ask this through him, Christ our Lord. Amen.”

The Canticle before the short reading is taken from Ephesians 1:
Blessed be God the Father of Our Lord Jesus Christ
who has blest us in Christ with every spiritual blessing.
God chose us in him before the world was made, to be holy and blameless before him, to be holy and blameless before him,
Blest be God the Father of our Lord, Jesus Christ. . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Our evening Magazine at 8p.m. and 9p.m. this week comes from the Sisters of Notre Dame and features
their presence and work at the United Nations and an account of the life of Sr Dorothy Stang SND who was murdered in
the Amazon rain forest.

Night Prayer at 8.50 p.m. and 9.50p.m. is led by Joe Docherty
