The St Mungo Singers have begun celebrating their 45th anniversary as a liturgical choir with  a visit to Scarborough, York, Whitby and Stanbrook Abbey; next will be a day out to St Andrew’s in Fife on 18th June culminating in a Mass in the Chapel Royal at Falkland Palace;
then a visit to Rothesay in August where we will join the congregation at St Andrew’s, Rothesay for their evening Mass;
finally we will have a ‘dinner’ in September.

The Archdiocese of Glasgow Music Committee is planning  an Archdiocesan  Evening Workshop during the 2nd week of  October and then a Year of Mercy Mass on 13th November.  We are also working on a substantial collection of Introits and Entry Songs as part of an effort to encourage parishes to curtail the inappropriate  use of hymns at the beginning of Mass.  We welcome the contribution of material for this book from any source.
