The Archdiocesan Music Committee will host 
a Music Conference at the OGILVIE CENTRE,
beside St Aloysius’ Church in Garnethill,
on Saturday 23rd February.

Morning Prayer and Workshops 10.30. . . . . . ..
We have all given a lot of attention to Lent and Holy Week in the past, and so this year are concentrating on material for Easter and Eastertide. We will provide some material for Lent but the workshops will focus on
1) Easter and then
2) the role of instrumental groups and music in parish or school, and there will be some discussion re how we can cater for one group in the community without neglecting the needs of the others.
3) Since the Sanctus and Memorial have such importance in the liturgy we will look at settings by John Carroll, Chris Walker and Liam Lawton
4) material will be provided for St Columba’s 1450th anniversary (of going to Iona) and the Year of faith.

A donation of £5.00 is expected to cover the costs of leaflets, CD and tea etc
