This Cantata was written by David Morris and Gerry Fitzpatrick for Glasgow’s Year of Culture, 1990, performed in Glasgow Cathedral, St Mungo’s Church, and in the Kelvin Hall. In 2003 it was performed in Our Lady and St George’s Church in Penilee. In 2012 it was sung by children, from some 20 schools, in Glasgow Cathedral on the 13th November marking the 14th centenary of St Mungo.
