The Introduction to Palm Sunday: the Missal provides a ‘Hosannah’ chant but many parishes will probably also avail themselves of a ‘Hosannah’ that they already know to get the more solemn celebration off to a good start. Some parishes even begin with the 2nd part of the Sanctus – ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosannah in the highest.’
