Such are the ones who seek your face, who seek your face,
O Lord. Such are the ones who seek your face, who seek your face, O Lord.
Glory to the Father, glory to the Son, Glory to the Holy Spirit now and for ever. Amen.
Such are the ones who seek your face, who seek your face, O Lord.
Penitential Rite
You were sent to heal the contrite of heart. Kyrie, eleison.
You came to call sinners. Christe, eleison.
You are seated at the right hand of the Father to intercede for us.
Kyrie, eleison.
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to people of good will.
We praise you, we bless you, we adore you, we glorify you,
we give you thanks for your great glory,
Lord God, heavenly King, O God, almighty Father.
Lord Jesus Christ, Only Begotten Son,
Lord God, Lamb of God, Son of the Father,
you take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us;
you take away the sins of the world, receive our prayer;
you are seated at the right hand of the Father, have mercy on us.
For you alone are the Holy One,
you alone are the Lord,
you alone are the Most High, Jesus Christ,
with the Holy Spirit in the glory of God the Father. Amen.
1st reading
Ps 18 Their voice has gone out, they fill the earth; the word of the Lord is heard.
The glory of the Lord is proclaimed; the heavens show the work of his hands.
Day unto day takes up the message, and night makes it known to night.
Their voice has gone out, they fill the earth; the word of the Lord is heard.
No speech, no word, no voice is heard, yet their voice goes out throughout the earth,
their words to the limits of the world, and their voice fills the earth.
Their voice has gone out, they fill the earth; the word of the Lord is heard.
Gospel Acclamation:
Alleluia. Alleluia. Alleluia. Alleluia.
Go make disciples of all the nations; I am with you to the end of time. Go make disciples of all the nations; I am with you to the end of time. Alleluia. Alleluia. Alleluia. Alleluia.

Prayers and Intercessions
We pray for our City: May we be inspired by Andrew, who left everything to follow Jesus, to let Glasgow flourish by the preaching of Jesus’ word and the praising of his name. Lord, hear us.
We ask for God’s blessing on all our civic and religious leaders,
that they may truly guide us in reconciling and respecting all,
in working for justice, in working for peace,
and in attending to the needs of all your children. Lord, hear us
We pray for our Scottish nation today. May we truly be a community where everyone is valued, where everyone is given their dignity because God is Father of us all. Lord, hear us
We pray for our world. May Scottish people everywhere contribute to the common good of the people in whatever nation they find themselves making their new home. May all people live in peace and harmony recognising each other as children of the one Father. Lord, hear us
Let us pray
As we thank you, Lord, for St Andrew and his spreading of Gospel
we pray that our own community may be brought together by devotion to the Word of God
and may move steadily towards the unity for which Christ prayed.
We pray for our country: that the faith shared by Andrew and the apostles,
may give joy, comfort and strength to us all
through Christ our Lord. Amen
The Gifts:
Oh, circle us now with love and with peace. Our strength and our guide, Lord, we pray.
We have nothing to fear when you are so near. You are King of the night and the day.
All glory to God the Father of all, To the Son and the Spirit give praise.
I ask you, my God, to bless and protect the fam’ly and friends that I love.
Enfold us in love, surround us with peace; be our strength and our light and our life.
All glory to God the Father of all, To the Son and the Spirit give praise.
St Andrew Sanctus
