May the almighty Lord grant us a quiet night and a perfect end. Amen.

Introduction

We thank you, Father, for the gifts you have given us today
in the laughter of friends and the kindness of strangers.
proofs of your love for us.
We ask you to forgive us for failing to live as you would have us,
and to grant us peace and rest this night
so that tomorrow we may try with renewed strength to do your will.

I thank you for love and for faithfulness, greater than we ever knew.
When I called you answered me, you increased my strength.
