The Entry Song is meant to increase the congregation’s sense of identity, to encourage everyone to participate and to focus attention on one of the main themes of the celebration. It is usually sung as the celebrant and other ministers join the rest of the community. The Roman Rite suggests an antiphon to be sung here but this may be replaced by psalm verses or some other suitable liturgical song.

1 Cantor or choir: In the morning let me know your love.
All: In the morning let me know your love,
make me know the way I should walk.
Glory to the Father, glory to the Son,
glory to the Holy Spirit now and for ever. Amen

2 In the morning let us know we’re loved
both at home and school
and everywhere we go:
let us show your love to everyone we meet
and be filled with peace and joy.
Glory to the Father, glory to the Son,
glory to the Holy Spirit now and for ever. Amen
