Deus in adjutorium meum intende:
Domine, ad adjuvandum me festina.
Gloria Patri et Filio et Spiritui Sancto,
sicut erat in principio et nunc et semper et in saecula saeculorum.
Amen
Oremus
Deus,
qui beatum Kentegernum pontificem ecclesiae tuae doctorem pariter et
rectorem mirifice presignasti,
praesta quaesumus:
ut cuius venerandam festivitatem agimus,
ipsius simper subfragia senciamus
per Christum Dominum nostrum.
Amen
Translation
O God, come to my aid:
O Lord, make haste to help me.
Glory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit
as it was in the beginning,
is now,
And ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.
Prayer
God,
who wonderfully distinguished Blessed Kentigern, bishop of the church,
as teacher and pastor,
grant that as we celebrate his feast
we may experience the effect of his prayers
Though Christ our Lord.
