8.00: Rev Tom Pollock of Sherbrooke St Gilbert’s Church of Scotland leads us in Lenten Morning Prayer;
8.15: Schools Morning prayer is led by Pupils of Our Lady of the Rosary with Magdalen MacInnes.
8.22: Canon Bob Hill looks at another of the ‘Signs in St John’s Gospel.
and Dr Laurence Whitley reflects on discerning ‘what we are not.’

12.00 noon: From the Scottish Catholic Observer: This week we’ve got a set piece interview with Rod Dreher, author of the Benedict Option. It’s one of the most anticipated books about Christianity to be published this decade and has already provoked a huge reaction in the states. In essence Dreher advocates embracing the ancient habits of the Benedictine monks, to build Christian communities that can survive in a post Christian age.

20.00: Donald MacInnes leads us in a Lenten Evening Prayer, with music by the St Mungo Singers, harpist Noel Donnelly and organists Jane McKenna and Jacqueline Barrett.
20.18: In this week’s magazine Honor Hania of Justice and peace, Scotland gives very important information on ‘Trade Justice,’ the interdependence between countries and the unfair rules which benefit the richer countries – the influence and power of the World Trade Organisation, the World Bank, and the International Monetary Fund. Bishop Joseph Toal writes to us for Sciaf Sunday. Fay Docherty continue’s the theme of trade justice and reads from Life and Work about the ‘crucial time for Fair Trade.’ Fay continues with Alistair Dutton of Sciaf writing about the current challenge of hunger, and with Ricky Ross’s visit to Zambia.
