radioalba.org christian is an ecumenical, internet-based radio which promotes prayer and news of good things happening in the churches and among people of faith.  It is sponsored by Glasgow Churches Together, by ACTS, and by the music Committee of the Archdiocese of Glasgow.

the Morning Hour at 7.00 is repeated hourly until 12.00
7.00: the Morning Prayers for this week are led by Jean Swinbank, Joe Docherty, Angela McLeod, Hugh Kelly, Pat Graham SND, and Gerry Fitzpatrick  with music by the St Mungo Singers, with organists Jane McKenna and  Jacqueline Barrett, and guitarist Donald MacInnes.  Morning Pryer for the Feast of the Assumption is led by Jean Swinbank.
7.15:  Morning prayer for the young this week is led by Catriona Glen
7.20: Canon Bob Hill continues his reflection on Luke 12 49-53 and the Journey of Jesus to Jerusalem and we hear short introductions to the daily readings in the Lectionary from the Liturgical Calendar for Scotland..
7.26:Catherine Walker leads us in praying for the needs of the community.
7.30: In our Magazine, the Rev Liz Adam reads an article by Rev Dr Jonathan Hussler on ‘our calling’ in the ‘Connection’ Magazine.  Gerry Fitzpatrick reads ‘The Uncertainty of Change,  by Chris McDonnell in the Catholic Times;  then we hear A response to President Trump from Washington National Cathedral;  a South African view of the Amazonian Synod; Calls for action on the plight of refugees in the Med;  and a report about the work of the Jesuit Refugee Service UK.
