radioalba.org is an ecumenical, internet-based radio which promotes prayer and news of good things happening in the churches and among people of faith.  It is sponsored by Glasgow Churches Together, by ACTS, and by the music Committee of the Archdiocese of Glasgow.

the Morning Hour at 7.00 is repeated hourly until 12.00
7.00:  Morning Prayer daily this week is led by Brian Henry of the Knights of St Columba, as they mark their Centenary,  with music by the St Mungo Singers, cantor Grace Buckley,  organist Jane McKenna and Jacqueline Barrett, and harpist Noel Donnelly.
7.15: Morning Prayer from School: With accordion and Recorder, from a Greeting in Gaelic through quotes from the Bible, the Koran and the Hindu Holy Book, the children of Golfhill Primary pray.
7.21:  Canon Bob Hill looks ahead to the Gospel for the 6th October, Luke 17: 5-10
 and we hear short introductions to the daily readings at Mass from the Lectionary
7.26:  David Coleman, environmental chaplain with ecocongregation, Scotland, looks ahead to the Glasgow Churches Together AGM next week and the United Nations Climate Conference in Glasgow next year.
7.30: In our Magazine, Marian Pallister of Justice and Peace, Scotland, speaking on Michaelmas, the feast of St Michael and all Angels,  looks at the financial insecurities experienced by so many families.  Denis McBride of Redemptorist Publications continues with the beginning of the Jesus Story; and from Open House Michael Martin tells us of the SCIAF guide ‘on caring for our Common Home.’
12.00: In the Scottish Catholic Observer we hear of the tour of the relics of St Therese;  Bishop John Keenan comments on the pressure on politicians to soft-peddle their faith;  some criticism of the existence of Catholic schools; and tributes to men who died in the mining disaster 60 years ago.
