8.00 a.m. Morning Prayer from Radio Alba:
Led by Netta Ewing, the service begins with
‘I am the Vine, you are the branches.’

Let us pray
Lord, your people learned to trust you
as they remembered the great things
you had done for them.
Let us also grow in trust
as our awareness of your presence deepens.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

We continue with Psalm 115.
The reading is from Hebrews 2:9-10
and is followed by a verse of the Benedictus, the intercessions,
the Lord’s Prayer, and a blessing.

8.15 a schools Morning Prayer led by children of Our Lady of the Rosary Primary,
with Catrina Glen singing a verse from St Paul’s letter to the Ephesians (4: 29-32)
and Our Lady of the Missions Primary Schools singing a hymn form of Psalm 115
(Lord, how can I repay).

The 30 minute program of Morning Prayers is repeated every half hour until 12.00
when it is replaced by a short service for people remembering and mourning.
From then until 8 pm there is music from ‘the archives’
