2000: Evening Prayer is led by Fr Gerry Fitzpatrick with music by the St Mungo
Singers, and Psalm 120 ‘Guard me, Lord, enfold me in peace. Bless your servant, Lord.’
The Evening Prayer opens with a hymn from the 1st Millennium ‘Creator of the stars of
night’ – and the theme continues in the first prayer:
‘Creator God, we thank you for the wonders you have made.
Inspire us to care for creation and to care for each other,
so that your Kingdom may truly be among us.’

The response for the Intercessions echoes the theme of the Jubilee Year –
Jesus, Lord, be merciful to us. Jesus, Lamb of God, fill us with your love.

2020: Magazine: From Alistair Dutton we have a very vivid account of the work of Sciaf
and the resources and expectations during Lent; and then
