Rutherglen Salvation Army Band, St Mungo Singers, Dancers from St Catherine’s, drama by Glasgow High School. GCT & SMS
15th June: “Glasgow the Welcoming City” in City Chambers. Welcome from Bailie McMaster. Preacher Rev. Lawrence Whitley. Representatives from Glasgow City Council, MSP’s, Church Leaders. African, Asian and Polish participants, Glasgow High School pupils, Rutherglen Salvation Army Band, Piper, Harpist, Instrumentalists. 16th Jan: Funeral in St John Bosco’s Erskine, of Bill Smyth, father of Brother Stephen Ecumenical Officer for ACTS.
27th Jan: Mass of our Celtic Roots at St Aloysius. Fr Noel Colford of Holy Cross presided and Fr Angus MacDonald preached. The St Mungo Singers, St Mungo’s Alloa choir, members of the Scots and Irish Gaelic communities, RSAMD, Aisling Ghael, Piper, harpist and Southside Fiddlers all were involved.

2nd Feb: Funeral Mass of Elizabeth Lindsay (choir member Gladys Brown’s mother) in St Joseph’s, Clarkston.
9th Feb: Funeral Mass of Fr Philip Hastings in St Joseph’s Robroyston.

15th Feb: 60th anniversary of the Lourdes Hospitalite.
17th Feb: First Annual White Mass. A Mass for those involved in the health care professions and voluntary care sector.

14th March St Patrick’s Vespers in Cathedral. Rt Rev Sheilagh Kesting, Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland attended. Invitations were sent to a number of the Irish community.

21st Dec. Carols for Peace in the City Chambers. Southside Fiddlers, Piper, Aisling Gheal Ensemble, Scottish Asian Christian Fellowship, Carissa Bovill all participated.
24th Dec. Funeral of Jimmy Fitzsimmons, choir member, in St Bernadette’s Tullibody.
